PCC WartonDiane was never keen to take this on but agreed to help out (slowly) last year. She said she was prepared (with undisguised reluctance) do it one more year. Hence my strong recommnedation that this should be part of Antonia’s benefice administrator role (Jodie has now incorporated). The cover letter for last year’s invoices actually promised 10 issues in 2024 (don’t ask me where I got that from it was pretty chaotic at the time). Far more significant is the necessary change to electronic copies (see separate topic) which I expect has resulted in far fewer page viewings. We are talking about ca. £1000 advertiser income for the benefice so this is not a trivial sum to walk away from (but I am treasurer!). Until end-Feb I haven’t received any advertiser payments so I assume no invoices have been sent (and be shouldn’t be until we know what were doing whereupon the invoice letter can clarify what advertisers will get for their money)
