I think we need to publish Service times for all 3 churches, UBWBY ministries such as Bubble Church, JC, YG, Eco Church, bible study, prayer ministry, Breaking Bread, Men’s Ministry etc, promote events such as Hymns and Pimms, churchyard cleanups, Heritage events, Rug and Quilt Festivals, Special Services (Remembrance Service, Crag Walks etc). Promote events run by our local schools and ecumenical organisations too. I personally feel that advertisers should be listed rather than submit artwork, much like sponsors do. I also think it reasonable to ask for a donation from beneficiaries of our News Mag to off set our costs. I think Mag should go out monthly, with the submission deadline 4 weeks ahead of issue date, and the issue date 1 weeks before the 1st of every month. Blessings, Jodie

Plea from Hilary is that the printing date is set well in advance and stuck to (as Robin did). This allowed Angela/Hilary to plan accordingly. The recent nonsense of Hilary and myself going in Saturday evening to print the copies for Yealand and Borwick is not acceptable (I’m sure Kevin had the same experience with the last minute proof reading).
