The three Churches in our Benefice
We welcome you all to St Oswald’s, Warton. Warton is a fairly large village near to Carnforth, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
St Mary’s is a Chapel of Ease in the parish of Warton, built to serve Borwick and Priest Hutton. It was built between the two villages in the 1890s.
St John’s Church is a lively village church, and we look forward to welcoming you to worship, which is usually centred on the Eucharist in a friendly and relaxed environment.
On Sunday 21st January 2024 the Revd. Alice Ormondroyd was instituted and installed as the new Vicar of St Oswald Warton with Yealand Conyers, St John.
Please pray for Alice and her family as they settle into their new home.
We are delighted you have come to our website. Whether you are here just having a look or searching for information about our church communities you are welcome. We hope you will enjoy exploring these pages, which will give you a taste of who we are, what we get up to and why we do it.
We are a family of three church communities seeking to live out the Diocese of Blackburn vision of being Healthy Churches Transforming Communities
Across our local churches we have a variety of services and activities at which all are welcome, regardless of things like age, gender, sexuality, education, mental health, background, etc. We believe that God loves and welcomes every human person.
Take a look around our site. Then come and spend some time with us as we explore what it means to be a human being in God’s world today.
